(Keceived, February 25,1.20 a.m.) Capetown, February 24, A body of hostile natives, under the guise of being friendly, penetratcd tho Portuguese lines at Lorenzo Marquez, on tho north side of Delagoa Bay. Tho attack was made at night, and resulted in the loss of 50 men the Portuguese side. Tho fatalities would have bpen very much heavier, but for the gallantry of a lieutenant ivho, though transfixed by an assegai, gave alarm and enabled tho men to offejw some sort of defence.
