BULES AND REGULATIONS, 1. Nominations and Acceptances must bo accompanied by the ncoessoiy fees, otherwise tltoy will be rejected. 2. Nominations must state colour, sex, nnmo, ago, pedigree and previous performances (where not known to handicapper), and colours to be worn by the rider, and quote number of race entered for. 3. A hack is a horse that lias nover won an advertised race at any time (hack and huutcr races excepted) and is not nominated in any race other than Hack or Hunter races at time of Nomination, 1, The Stowords reserve the right to alter the dates of nominations, weights and acceptances, should occasion arise, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Club. Nominations for all events except the Maiden Hack and Selling Hack Races close with the Secretaiy onMondoy,2sth February at 9 p.m, Weights will be declared on or beforo Saturday, 2nd March, at 9 p.m. Acceptances ond Entries for the Maiden Hack and Selling Hack Races closowith the Secretary on Saturday, 9th March, at 9 RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to be run under the New Zealand rules of racing. In case of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within IB rains. after the race has been run, with a deposit if £2, such doposit to bo forfeited if the ptost bo found frivolous or vexatious. No scratching of borscs allowed, unless 'hrough the Secretary, and 30 minutes beore the time of starting. No entry will be received for auy race uness on the conditions that all claims, dislutes, and objections arising shall bo deeded by the Stewards, or whom they may ippoint, and their decisions upon all points ball be final.
