All races to be run under the New Zealand rules of racing. In case of a protest the same must bo lodged with the Secretary within IB rains. after the race has been run, with a deposit if £2, such doposit to bo forfeited if the ptost bo found frivolous or vexatious. No scratching of borscs allowed, unless 'hrough the Secretary, and 30 minutes beore the time of starting.
