[IITDAJIOCIiES.] A match between the combined eleven of Wairarapa and tho Bush and the Wellington reprcsontativea will in all probability bo arranged before the closo of the present season. ' The return match between the Bush and Wairarapa will be played at Greytown after tho Association matches are concluded. j^ The match between the Grodßra and Phoenix teams at Wellington yesterday was won by Grcytown&y two runs on the first innings. The ; Phoenix eleven wasgreatly strengthened by the inclusion of Messrs Dcane and Fowl, of Williamson's Opera, Company. Greytown batted first, and scored 131, of which Nicols rnado 55, and Cargill 32 in good style. Deane, with five for 41, and Findlay, three for 31, bowled well. The Phconix replied with 129, towards which Dcane contributed 41 ' in dashing stylo; Ellison, 29 ; Stevens lb"; Fleming, 15 ; and Roberts, 11. F. Hawke, two for 16, and W. Judd, 5 for 68, secured tho best average, In their second innings Greytown had lost seven wickets for 85 wbou tinio was called H, Hawke, 37; and Rowse, 14. Deane got five wickets for 27 runs. ' Nicholls and Ford kept wickets well for Greytown and the Phconix respectively, while the fielding of -the country team was considerably bA>r than that of the town club. The Greytown touring toam play tho United Tradesraon at Wellington to-day, and a combined team of tho Wellington Club and tho Opera Company to-morrow. Victoria defeated South Australia by ton.wicketa. The innings of tho losers closed at 245 in a rather peculiar way.
