i (Received February 20,10.45 a.m.) , Sydxbv, February 20, Admiral Stride leaves Hobarfc with the Orlando within a few days for Auckland, where the flagshijfill be , joined by the Katoomba, iSyalist, Ringdove and Kurakatta. After squadron manoeuvres being earned out ill Jlauraki Gulf, the Admiral will make an official landing at Auckland, and will afterwards visit Wellington and the Southern parts. Tho Katoomba and Kurakatta re-, place the Royalist and Ringdove in Now Zealand waters. Hobaiit, February 20. Sir 11. Duff's condition last night was less favourable, tho congestion of the lungs has been accelerated by anattackof jaundice, and bisstrength , is failing. , It is reported that tho U.S.S. Co. * i will hold the Mersey Marine Board i responsible for tho recent accident ■ to the Pukaki, and are awaiting tho i result of the enquiry to makoaclaim r for damages against the Board.
