FEATHERSTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent), Monday, During the week Mr E. J, Searl, who has been soino time hero, leaves for Kketahuna, whore ho has taken over the Universal Hotel Archdeacon Dudley, of Auckland, assisted tho Rev. Mr Grace with the service last evening, and gave a very interesting sermon. Yesterday the thermometer registered 1 15 in the sun and 88 in the shade. After Church last Sunday, the liev. Mr Grace was waited on by a deputation from Kaiwaiwai, asking him to hold an occasional service in the undenominational church theA as the majorityof people are infajfc • of it At present tho Church of Jingland service is held in the hall, there being friction between two parties.
