Mr Curloy, Secretary of the Miners' Association advised the Greta miners who have boon on strike for many months to return to work on the best terms obtainable, He said tho £ Association is hopelessly beaton and™ tho funds totally exhausted, tbo lodges lmving refused to collect tho necossary levies. The mind's accepted his advice, but the Company refuse to recoguiso them as a lodge, and will only deal with them individually, There are furthor signs of disruption. Tho Association men employed in tho Newcastle Coal Company's pits have decided by a large majority to secede from tho Union. So dosirous arc the Unionist minora lately employed on the co-operative works of obtaining employment tbatthev made an oiler to the Company to cut coal at 4d to Gd less than the price paid to nonunionists.
