Tho first meeting of the Bund of Hope (this year) was held in the Wesleyan Schoolroom last night, when a good attendance was present and a capital programme was furnished. The meetings will bo held forinightly as formerly, but will be hold on Tuesday instead of Monday. 1 urn glad to hear that Mr J. Tocker, blacksmith, of this town, who lias been suffering from tumour on tlio brain, has had a successful operation performed in the Wellington Hospital.
