PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Ai'ckmxd, February 12. The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Neiv Zeal«kl was opened this evening, when litre was a full attendance of Clerical and lay representatives and the general public at St. Andrew's Church. The retiring Moderator, the Rev. Daniel Gordon, 8.A., preached the sermon, and the incoming Moderator, the Rev R. J. Ellsworth, of Victoria, delivered his inaugural address.
