[TO TIIK KIHTOIi.J Sin,—The manifesto of Mr James Robertson, of Wellington, who is a candidate for a scat 011 the Education Board, published in the advertising columnsvf your issucof Friday, is worthy of the careful perusal of every parent in our district, and ijt especially commends itself to flic various School Committees who have a vote at their disposal in the coming election. 1 don't know Jlr Robertson—l have not even ever seen him—ljui Ido think thaj. his views 011 this important question,tliq mental and physical education of our children, are most sensible and liberal-minded, They seem to be the ideas of a discerning ijian, who has the capacity to not only discover what is the right solution of some of our difficulties, but to act up to his convictions and carry out bis notions in an earnest and cpmplete manner, Jlr Robertson, judging him by his letter, is a man good enough to represent any district, and I hope lie gets support in this;—l am, etc., Pa mi'.
