At the inquest on Saturday, the jury (Mr Keogan. foreman),brought in a verdict thatthedeceased,Pluter, was accidentally drowned in tho Tiraumea on the previous day. Tho > deceased was 19 years of age. Pahiatua beat flawera by one innings and 22 runs, on Saturday, and thus won the Senior Cup, without a defeat.
