ITALY AND ABYSSINIA.

Rons, January 18. Ine Ruler of Abyssinia has formally declared war against Italy. The Italian Government if sending reinforcements. Abyssinia became an Italian protectorate by the treaty of May, 1889, the outcome of various conflicts between Abyesiman forces and those of Italy, and this treaty was conned and extended in October of the same year.
