WAIRARAPA RIFLE MEETING.

TheWairarapaßifle Association Meeting was concluded yesterday. The markers were highly complimented on their efficient marking. Mr Flux was range officer and was ably assisted by Messrs A, McKenzie and W. Brunton. Messrs Izard Flui, Walden, Capt. Cameron, JicKenzie, and the Secretary (Mr J. L. Recs) deserve much credit for the way m which they worked towards making the meeting in ovary way successful.
The nearest possibles at 500 yards at the meeting, were made by IzarJ, Walden, and Whiteman, each making 34 out of the 35.
In the President's match, Izard made 66 out of the possible 70, (10 bull's eyes and 4 inners). The score at 500 yardßwas 3 lout of 35, and I at 600 yards, 32 out of 35. j
The Papawai match, 500 and 700 yards, was won by W, Ballinger (Wellington),Oates2,KibbWhite3. The Wairarapa Farmers' Cooperative match was won by G. J. Cameron (29;; the Challenge Cup was won by H. S. Izard, This gentleman ftlso won Mr Buchanan's GMlenge Cup. Aggregate prizes were won by W. Ballinger, J; laard, 2;C. Hollard t 3. '
