THE WALLSEND MINERS.
Svbskt. Jan. 21, Attempts to make a local agreement between the Wallseud miners and the proprietors of Lhu mine have failed. The stumbling block is believed to be the refusal of the management to increase the yardage rates. Several lodges have rejected the'' Delegate Hoard's resolution, and it is anticipated that the bitch at the Wallseud mine, will cause the others to do so too, as the leader in any new movement. Wickam 4jd Bullock Island Collieries, have Allied a similar reduction to tho Helton mine.
