The Chairman asked the meeting v to consider tlio offer of the Football ffi Club iu the first instance. The Chairman, " Will you lend it to us!" Mr Renall, "Yes, if you give me 15 per cent, for the money!" The Chairman, "Is your offer a serious one ?" Mrflenall, "Yes." The Chairman, " I move that it be accepted." Mr Boddington in seconding the i. motion, pointed out that even 15per tt cent, was better than surrendering the half of the Grand Stand proceeds, Mr Moore protested against usurious interest, and offered to lend the money at 10 per cent. (A laugh.) On the motion of Mr Feist, Mr Moore's offer was accepted. The offer of the Masterton Football Club was theu declined with thanks. On the motion of the Chairman, Mr M.
