LOWES & lORNS' STOCK SALE REPORT. Messrs Lowes 4 lorns report at their monthly stock sale at Eketabuna yesterday Several entries were absent, but all yarded sold at following rates: Fat ewes, b's 3d aged stores, 6s; 2 year steers, £3 2s Gd; yearlings, 355; calves, 255; dairy cows and heifers, £3 to £i j hack horsos, £3; light harness, £l2 10s.
| I SIMMS & MOWLEM'S STOCK SALE REPORT. Messrs Simms and Moivlem held their usual fortnightly stock sale in the yards yesterday (Wednesday). Sheep and cattle wore well represented and bidding from the start to the close of the sale was spirited throughout, showing a vastimprovement on tho last sales. Cuttle were in specially good demand, and all yarded were disposed of at satisfactory prices. Lambs also sold well, over 600 chauging hands. Horses of all classes wero numorous but none found purchasers. In sheop : Fat ewes rangod from 6s 3d to 78; fat lambs, os lOd to 6s; lambß in the wool, 3s 9d to 4s. Cattle: Fat bullocks, £6 Is to £6 6s; cows, £4 17s 6d to £5 10s; store bullocks, £5 8s to £6 Is; 2- ' year old steers, £3 10s to £4 10s; dairy cows, £slos to £G 6s; springing heifers, £3los to £3 15b ; yearlings, 35s to 40s,
