[To the Editor W,D, Times,] Sir.—Please allow me space ,to thank those who made so kind a response to my appeal last night, Including 10a from Mrs G. Green, and | a like amount from Mr Bremner, the result of last night's appeal is £5 9s, making a total to the Trußt 'fund'of £9 6s 6d. This will, I hope, increase until it amounts to £ls. Only with some Buch sum can an artificial leg be procured, and board and lodging paid, nntil a livelihood can ho earned. It's small onough for that, in all conscience,' Mr Waddington haß kindly consented to help me in the administration of the fund.
