MASTERTON ROAD BOARD.
[ Monthly Meeting. Tho regalar montlily meeting of ike Masterton Road Board was held last Saturday. Present Messrs Cameron (chairman) Stuckey, Harris, and Holmes, The minutes of tho last meeting were read and confirmed. It was decided to accede to the request of Mr Court antl others, re subsidising the amount raised to repair the road to the Rangituraau School. The Commissioner of Crown Lands letter covering schedule of thirds, was referred to the Engineer. Tho Finance Committee's report recommending accounts amounting to £2Bl for payment was adopted, The Engineer's report was read and adopted, The Engineer was authorised to expend £lO on the Dorset's Road extension. Resolved that steps be taken to expend the £lB allocated for tho Upper Opaki Road, at Christensen's swamp, Resolvedthatthe Engineer be requested to furnish a report on H, Campbell's claim,
