THE SILVER KING.
To-night the play goers of Mastorton are to be treated to ono of tho most remarkable plays of the time, " The Silver King," a play which has gained immense favor every, where and which admirers of the British drama can scarcely grow tired of seeing. Tho popular and, gifted acter, Mr Walter Bentley, will ngain enact the leading character, " Wilfred Denver," a part in which ho excels, and in which he ranks second to none for all round excellence, Messrs Williamson and Musgrove ongaged Mr Bentley a short time since to sustain this role at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne, when the drama was played for six weeks to crowded audiences, Mr Bentley scoring a great triumph. In recognition of his talented performance the management presented him with a very handsome tokon, at the same time expressing the pleasure they felt in having tho opportunity of wituessing what they believed to bo the best interpretation of one of tho most difficult and beautiful characters in modern drama.
