Messrs Lowes and lorns report at theirmonthly stocksaleat Eketahuna yesterday, all classes of stock were represented, and with the exception of one line each of sheep and cattle, upon which the vendors placed too high a reserve, everything sold at good market rates. Pat ewes made 7s 6d ; store wethers, small, 5s Gd to 6s 6d j stores in the wool, 9s Id; 2 to 2J year steers, 60s to 70s; 18 months, SOsto 555; yearlings, 455; calves, 52s to 28s 6d; daily stock, aged cows, 70s j heifers, 75s to 80s.
