Mr Larnacli, H.H.E., had ono of his ribs broken yesterday. All but Mr Larnach escaped unhurt, A Mauricovillo correspondent writes: —"The New Zealand L and M. Agency Company has taken over the Mauriceville Dairy factory, the milk supply of which reached 452 gallons last Saturday, and is expected to increase to 600 gallons per day before long. The services of the present Manager, Mr C. Schon, will be retaiued by the Company Mr Sehon beinghighly recommended by Mr A. Busck, the Government Dairy Instructor. ThcL. and M. Company has introduced the system of paying for milk according to,tho quality supplied, which has hitherto not been in force here, but it has been found necessary, as two years ago 24'6 lbs was required to make 1 lb of butter; last season 28*4 lbs was required •> and this season it has taken 33'0 lbs to mako 1 lb butter."
