Sad Death.
(Received December 13,10.85 p.m. London, December 13. Sir J. S. D. Thompson was suddenly seized with illness while at luncheon at Windsor Castle. Brandy was administered, and the stimulant caused him to revive, but the improveiuentwa.sonly temporary for he soon afterwards fell back and expired suddenly. The Queen was greatly grieved on hearing of his sad death. Ottawa, December 13. The new 6 of Sir J. S. D. Thompson's death caused a profound sensation throughout Canada, It is expected that Mr McKenzio Bowcll, Minister of Trado and Commerce, will bo summoned by the Governor-General to take charge of the Government.
