Mr McGowan,Tax Commissioner, having assisted thoNew South "Wales Ministry to frame their Land and Income Tax Bill, bus been requested' to visit Melbourne for the purpose of' getting the machinery for a similar Department thereready,aud the Government have granted him leave, and | ho will take his departure for Victoria next month.
