On the Road to Coolgardie.

What fir G.A.Cameron says,

[Special—Copyright.]

Albany, December 11,

Reliable information here re Coolgardie shows that water is five pence I per gallon on tho field.

Fever is prevalent and several deaths are recorded weekly.

The time to start for the field is iu February. Exemption from labour on all leases has been declared for two months. Prospectors are leaving for the eastern colonies, no work , being available and much poverty. With plenty of water the field will absorb all the labour there. Many claims have been floated by London prospectors, who get little cash and much scrip. The reef generally is considered permanont, many having proved the water level up to ten feet wide, yielding from two to twenty ounces. Water is scarce on the track, and cartage twenty pounds from Sonthern Cross. It is considered that there is a good prospect for an experienced man with capital. Leave for field to-morrow.—" Cameron."
