THE FIRTH OF FORTH

(By Telegraph-Press Association)

Dunedix, Tuesday,

Messrs Eattray and Co., agents for tho overdue ship Firth of Forth, fearing the luvorcargill telegram regarding wreckage at Preservation Inlet might refer to that vessel, wiied to tho Harbour Master at the Bluff, and in reply were advised that the wreckage does not correspond with that of the Firth of Forth, besides that vessel would not be on the New Zealand coast two months ago. This seems to imply that the wreck was not a recent one.
