December Btli: "■ ■ During the week a noticeable improvement lias taken place'in farm produce and business generally.ln poultry, butter and eggs, good prices are still maintained, Late potatoes are moving freely, Early sorts, imported, are slow of sale, but local grown new potatoes fetch fair prices. Onions are slow of sale even at the the low prices quoted below. Grain is without alteration. Green peas are .very plentiful, consequently pi-ices are exceptionally low. Sheep and rabbitskins remaiu at last week s quotations. Our usual weekly sale of horses on Saturday wasfairly well attended and better prices realised. In sheep we sold a,' private line of 250 ivetliers at 6s9d to 7s 6d.. We quote prices as follows % s .!>d per dozen ; butter 6|d per lb. ' ' 1 •
