A Man Burned to Death

'CmiisTOHUitcii, Friday. A man named A. E. McGurr, a widower from near Ashburton, was burned to death in a fire which partially destroyed a two-roomed house iu St Asaph-street, C. Taylor was also badly burned, and was taken to the hospital, These two mon, with another, had been in the house during tho nightsmokiug and drinking.
