New Plymouth, Monday, The report of a Louden expert on petroleum oil obtained from the Now Plymouth syndicate, as got from tho 900 ft bore ac Muturoa, hasj ust been received.
Professor Boverton Redwood, tho expert, says the oil is undoubtedly valuable, and that tho discovery of such oil is of great commercial importance.
Mr Samuel leaves to morrow m route for Sydney, to arrange for Binking ton.greater depth,
