The cup match between Woodville and Pahiatua senior teams, playcdon Saturday in iucessantrain, resulted in ft win for Patiiatua by 31 runs, on tlio first innings, Pabiatua went in first and knocked up 134 with tho loss of six wickets, whou with two and a quarter hours to play, the innings was declared closed, and Woodvillc went in. Mr Phillip, and Messrs Wilson and Thomas,' Thoro woro ton competitors, and tho Judges decided iu favour of Messrs Haslett, Skinner, and McKinlay, in the order named, Mrs Brown and Mrs Cooporcompetod for tho ladies prizes, mid woro placed in tho ordor given. A collection was taken up in aid of tho Wairarapa relief fund and realised £lss.
