A meeting of dologatcß from tho various Cricket Clubs mot at tho Marquis of Normanby Hotel, Carterton, last ovoning. Present—Messrs Rowseand MiicKonsiie (Grcytown), IJooth and Eugle (Carterton), Uallou (Matarawi), Penny (Fcatlicrston), Bono (Masterton). Mr Poofch occupied the chair. The minutes of tho previous meeting wcro read and confirmed. Correspondence was received from the W.F.0.A,, Excelsior, and Ekotaliuna Cricket Clubs.
■ After considerable ; discussion in s roforence to Thursday raatolies, it 3 was proposed by Mr Bone, seconded by Mr Gallon, that tho Chairman and - Secretary be instructed to do their , best to arrange Thursday Champion- . ship matches. ■ Mr Boue proposed as a notice of ii motion that should tho Ekotahuna , Club withdraw from the Champion- , ship, that tho present fixtures for tho , season bo freshly arranged, next i Saturday's matches, however, to be played as drawn. It might bo mentioned that wliero i second clovonsmeotonoanotherthey play clcvon aside, but whore they meet senior elevens they are handi- ■ capped as follows;—Carterton and Ekutahnna, 13; Masterton 2nd, Cfreytown 2nd, Peatherston and Matarawa, 15 j Morrison's Bush, l(i, The rules of tho Association as printed were adopted. Mr Tucker, of Carterton, promised Mr Bono, of Masterton, four balls for the host bowling averages in tho Masterton, Carterton, Greytown and j Feathorstou Clubs. Messrs Kershaw and Scott (W.F.' C.A.) and Mossrs Bagge and Harland (Excelsiors) attended tho meeting as delegates on behalf of their various clubs.
