STUMBLING BLOCKS.
(To Tub Editor WI).. Times.)
Sib,—As an attached member of the Church of England, and also one who takes a great interest in all good works, I should like to say how soiry I am that our Clergyman felt it right to refuse the invitation of the Wesleyan Community, to.be present at their Anniversary gathering. It seems to me the higher principle of Christian love should overcomo the lower principle of Church doctrine. I think the saddest part of these things is, that they prove such stumbling blocks to unbelievers, I am Yours, &c A Member of the Churcu op , England.
