COMMERCIAL.

Mastkrton, Monday. Messrs It. E. Homblow and Co. Auctioneers and produce Merchants report as follows for the week ended Saturday, November 10th. As wo predicted last week, the maiket for all kinds of produce was quiet and there is little prospect of much improvement in last week's values. Potatoes aro in fair demand but the market is flooded. Oats are dull of salo and there is a likelihood of lower rates. There is little or no enquiry for wheat. New potatoes are plentiful and as a consequence prices are low. Butter and eggs aro without alteration, but we expect to see a rise in tlio price of latter in a few days, Poultry is coming in freely. Horses are in poor demand although wo had a fairly successful sale on Saturday, with better prices than usual, we quote: - Eggs.—sd per doz.

Burcmt.—6d per lb. Poultry.-Fowls, 2s 3d to 2s 7d; turkeys, 8s fid; Geese, 7s 3d per pair, Pigs.—Wcuners from 7b 6d to 10s each.

Oats.—2s to 2s 3d, Wheat (good) 2s 3d to 2s fid.

Potatoes, Old 2s to 3s per cwt.; new, Id to Ijd per lb, Best well cut oaton sheaf chaff from 2s fid per sack, Chaw, from Is 2d per bag. Hams & Bacon, from 5d to 7d ner lb. ' Babbit Skins, without alteration. HORSES-Drnughts, £ls; light harness, from £8 to £1210s; saddle hacks, £4 to £lO. Land -The demand for leasehold farms still continues. Our list has been well sorted and wo would like to hear from those desirous of leasing or selling in tho country. Town properties are Blow of sale.
