CASTLEPOINT ROAD BOARD.
Ordinary Meetinq. A meeting of the above Board was held on Saturday last, Prosent: Messrs Maunsoll (Chairman), Dalziell, Langdon, Andrew and Elder. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and continued, Letters were read from the l County clerk re the Board subsidis-! ing the fund of tho riding for main, tonanco of main roads. From same stating that the Council was agreeable to pay cost of gate to give access to metal pit near Tenui bridge . From Auditor-Genoral re Clerk attending audit in Masterton, The report of tho Clerk of Works was read aud considered. ltesolyed.T-Thnt a sum of £350 be voted'fon expenditure by tho Council on County roads within the
Cashpoint riding—£2oo on TemiiMungapakeha line, & 100 on Tenuj. Manawa line, and £SO on Tenul Whakataki line.
That the Chairman and Mr Andrew be appointed to sign tho rate book,
Accounts amounting to £29 16s, were examined and passed for payment and the meeting adjourned,
