This clover company will'mako their first appearance in Masterton on Wednesday evening next, at the Toraporaiico Hall. Professor Hellor and his Bonanza Coterie,hayegained a triumphant .success throughout New Zealand, being heralded in every city as being an entertainment of a most extraordinary nature. The principal feature connected with the company is the peculiar performance under tho title of" BosicrueianPsychomancy," inwhicli MadameHeller shows her remarkable powers by describing the thoughts, ofher 'patrons, Referring to tho ontertainment the Hawkc's Bay Herald says;—" Under the title at tho head of this article, Professor and Madame Heller made their first appearance at the Theatre Royal last night before.a large and enthusiasticaudience.ltpi'ovedan entertainment of bewildering surprises, and 'Mr Heller may well bepardoned for announcing the entertainment as ■' the queerest V and strahge'st'show on earth," It is decidedly a novelty of the most attractive kind,' It is decidedly a noyelty of the most attractive kind, ■ Mr Heller proved that ho was master of his ark and his efforts were rewarded-uiffcordial approval. But the act of tj|.evenihg was a seance cloaked'uiNfr tho specially coined title of" Rosicraciak Somnomuncy." Mr Heller's subject was Madame Heller, who thrown into a trance interpretediho thoughts of tho audience. The audionca -appeared to be too stunned and ''bewildered by what they saw.; to be capable of expressing their .amazement. It seemed so .uncanny arid yet one was fairly forced to believe. The audience were asked to think of questions of any,,sort, which were divulged to.no person, yet Madame Heller answered dozens of unknown questions thought' by prominent citizens. Every person whose question was thus answered, publicly stated that thorewas no collusion,, furthermore, the majority of the' answers were correct down", to tho'smallest dotails. One lady-was informed; as to tho whereabouts of her ;• brother j another lady wastold that her husband who had disappeared ; .vras drowned. She told ianother lady where her brooch ': was. Sho gave the whereabouts of absent friends, residents, etc., Mr Hellers : cabinet manifestations caused much wonder and amusement, Mr Percy.Abbott's vocal contributions, wero well toceived, The entertainment is highly interesting and full of laughter,
