Legislative Council. (By Telegraph,—Press Association) Wellington', Monday. • The Council mot at 11 a.m. Tho formal business having been disposed of, the Hon. P. Buckley moved that the Council adjourn until 2.30 p.m., as a mark to tho memory of the late Hon. P. Dignan. He spoke feelingly of the uprightness of character and sterling worth of the deceased gentleman, as also did the lions. Whitmore, Stewart, Swnnson, Jennings and Bolt. Tho Council then adjourned,
