MAURICEVILLE ATHLETIC CLUB.

Annual Meeting, The eighth annual mooting of the above Club was held atMauricevillo on the 13th October 1894, The following members were present;— Messrs G. Gunderson (in the chair), J. F. Heckler, P. Gleeson, J. Gleeson, F, Kummer, J, Cottis, C, Petersen, 0. Brookes, R. Brookes, G: DayJ R, Carroll, and Geo. Franklin, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, Tho Secretary (Mr Geo. Franklin) presented the, annual balance sheet, duly audited, showing a credit balance of £l4 lis fid, together with theanditqrs report, which on the motion qf Mi" J. J?. Heckler was adopted as read. \ . The fojiowing officers then proposed and ejected :—President, Mr' G Gunderscn (re-ekcted); Yicerpresideuts, Mcssra'G, Day pd John Bannister j Secretary and Treasurer, Mr Geo. Franklin; Assistant, Mr C, Brookes ; jAlops, Messrs J, F, Heckler, F, KumVr, }V, F, Day, <J, Gleeson, C, Petersen and Q. Day ; Haudicappers, Messrs J, Gleeson and R, Carroll; Starter, Mr R. Brookes j Auditors, Messrs J, Cottiss and 0. Brookes, \ The Standing Orders of the Club were adopted, \ The following Ground Committed was appointed:—Messrs Geo. Franklin, J, Cottiss, 0. Petersen and tho President.

Resolved that tho Club appoint a bell ringerforthe sports.--Tliat traps, buggies, and other conveyancesbeallowed on the ground placedina position approvedby tho Committee. - That tho Club procure paper tapes to bo placed on starts in Handicaps, the competitor breaking such tapes once to he put back one yard, or three breaks disqualified.—That all members pay annual subscription on or before day of sports,—That the Secretary pifc tpihe Hastwell Band re playing %' sports.—That the'next meeting, be held pnthc 10th November nest, ' The following new members were elected:—Messrs J, Judd, Quin and, T. H. Hillas.

The following Ball Committee was elected for tho Club's Ball;-Messrs R. Carroll, G. Day, R, Brookes and C. Brookes.
