Noble had paid another instalmont of the amount owing, CASUAL CASKS, The action of the Chairman and Secretary in dealing with ca'sual cases was confirmed, THE COH.AIID CASE. This caso was considered, Tho Dorcas Society reported that they had found necessary articles for their use, and forwarded tho account to the Trustees. G'ollard, who was a railway porter, had been out of employment for live months, was promised employment at the end of tho month from tho Railway Department. It wis considered that this case was chargeable to tho Wollington Society, and that as it would cost more to find tho articles of furniture, otc., it was thought better to pay his fare to Wellington. The matter was left in the hands of tho Chairman and Secretary to deal with, A IHiEXHEIM OASE. Correspondence re Mrs Howard was received from tho Blenheim Trustees, declining to accept any liability in the case. The dates at which she left there were given by Mrs Howard and the Trustees were, of opinion that sho was certainly chargeable to that district. A reply to that Board's letter was sent pointing out their liability. The assistance given was ordered to he continued till further communication was received. THE WEU.IXGTOX HOME, The Secretniy to tho Old Men's Home reported that there are no vacancies in the Home nt present. I'AY SHEET, Tho pay sheet for tho month amounted to £37 5s 6d and petty casli £G 4s Id. TREASURER'S REPORT. The Treasurer reported a credit balance at the Bank of £lO4 9s 6d with unpaid cheques leaving a net balance of £B6 12s 6d,
