The ammunition is to be manufactured iu the Colony from powder now at Mount Eden, the number of rounds not to exceed 1.500,000 Martini-Henry Boxer ball cartridges, delivered at the rate of 80,000 rounds per month, and the price not to exceed L 5 as per 100 C i rounds, After the delivery of the , 1,500,000 rounds, such ammunition shall be supplied as may be ordered for a period not exceeding five years ending on March 31st, 1899, tho price to be in this ease also L 5 5s per 1000 rounds, or the current War Office price, with additional cost of , insurance, freight and charges of delivery in Wellington, such price to be ascertained in London. All tho amunition slmll be equal to tlmt in England, and shall bo tested before delivery is accepted.—S.Z, Times,
