Robert Wood gave an interesting lecture entitled and There about London," tho subject being illustrated with numerous lime-light views of tho principal objects of interest about tho groat city' A good deal of interesting information nas also gii en by tho lior gentleman respecting tl|o places sjiown Ihcopho apparatus used to throw these pictures on the screen was a pair of powerful dissolving view lanterns Tlio pictures n cro actual photos, taken on the spot, and showed with fino effect Tho pictures filled tlio entire largo Bheet used The entertainment concluded with a series of mcws from "Pilgrims Progross" and also several amusing lllustrationsof "Diogenes and His Tub" The proceeds are in aid of the "Monthly Visitor Tract Society," and this fund should benefit considerably by the leeturo
