ATTEMPT TO BURN A POST OFFICE.

Gisbohne, Saturday, A most determined attempt was mado shortly after midnight to burn downtho Post and Telegraph Offices, Kerosene had been thrown on the weather boards and at tho back of the premises a <pjantity of wood and paper saturated with kerosene was foundonfire, Fortunately tho blazo was observed and tho fire extinguished before any damagowas done. There is no cluo to tho incendiary.
