WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Monday. The annual general meeting of tlio Club was held at Carterton on Saturday, Mr W. C, Buchanan, M.H.R. was voted to the chair the members present being Messrs G. Tully (Master), Harold Welch (Deputy Master), N. Grace, G, Tully, A, G PilmeiyH. Welch, J. Strang, A.' Welch, P. Cooper, R. Cooper, R. Roake, J. Ajigerstein, H. Tucker, J, McPhce, K, MoKenzie, J. Donald, F. Sexton, 11,I 1 , Dixon, W, Strang, and W, McKenzio (Hon. Sec.) The minutes of tlio last annual meeting were read and confirmed. Tlio report and balance sheet as read were adopted. MrR. Roake tendered his resignation as huntsman which was accepted and Mr Harold Welch appointed to the position. ■ It was resolved that this meeting be adjourned for . a fortnight, and that Messrs Pilmer, Tully, Kemble, and the Secretary be a Committee to arrange , terms with Mr' Welch, on which the bounds shall be hunted arid to settle accounts with Mr Eoake, and arrange, to tako over from Mr Iloake the hounds and kennels..by that date,; with power, to act in the latter,' ■respect ; ami report on-the ;whole matter at the adjourned meet- ! ing. . :
The meeting then adjourned,
