Tho chairman said that the Board was now advertising for a second assist ant for the Masterton School. < Mr Jackson suggestd that tho Board be asked to .supply a temporary teacher, until a permanent ono is appointed. ; It was decided to adopt' this course, i ' • '.' BBPOBI8."' ' •■' The Head Teacher .reported 680 scholars on the roll, with an average attendance of 401 :•• Tho attendance, which has been exceptionally bad, is now recovering.
