(Received September 3,0.50 a.m.) The Scotch Miners. London, September 2. Serious encounters have taken place between the police and miners at Coatbridge, near Glasgow. The police charged with bayonets and several persons were wounded. The total loss owing to the strike of the Scotch miners is estimated at £8,000,000.
