The Union Bank and Bank of Australasia to-day reduced the interest on 12 months deposits to 4 per cent, and six months deposits to 2| per cent..' It is understood that the Bank of New South Wales has also done so. Tho Bank, of New Zealand has : reduced its rates half per cent, all round, For 12 months deposits, the rate is 4f per cent, '
