Special Meeting.
' -A special meeting of the above Board was held last Saturday, Present: Messrs W, B, Matheson (chairman), T,Bayliss,M.P.Bourko, and 1 M, Noilson. Tenders for additions to the Board office wore received as follows:—A, Dunstall, £43 19s Od | Croft and Jenkins, £44 Os.Od'; H. Johnson, £45 Os Od 5 N. Aulin,£4olssod; A. Power, £4210s Od, MrAulin's tender was accopted, . Mr H. Aulin applied to have a n access made to the .road between the Wesleyau Church and his houseGranted.
A letter from T, Smith'was read, asking to have water tables cloared on Makakahi road.—lt was decided that it is undesirable to do tho work whilo tho road is so wet,
Tho question of rating lands not yielding thirds, in areas rated for loans, where thirds aro used for paying interest on loans, was discussed it considerable length, Notice was given, that such land berated, would bo moved at tho next mooting.
