[Heavy Snow-fall at Canterbury.

Timaru, Friday,
| Snow fell from ten p.m. to midnight, all over South Canterbury. In Timaru there was about Winches, Tho fall is the heaviest for seven years. It is clear to-day, and tho snow is disappearing fast.
