Coxsidkbabu: pressure has been brought to bear on the Mnsterton Borough Council -to reinstate its former Gas Manageiyand the Council is to be congratulated upon haying done its duty to the ratepayers on this occasion, ,; That the property of the Borough suffered Wssjind depreciation while under the'care of the late Maimgerhas been notorious, and under these circumstances to have retained his services; would have been distinctly wrong and mischievous. No doubt the Borough Council, in common with many ratepayers, regrets that it has become necessary to appoint an entirely new Manager, but from a business standpoint it had no alternative,
