MASTERTON HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
Monthly Meeting.
The monthly meeting of the Masterton Hospital Trustees was held yesterday afternoon, at 3,30, in the County Council Chambers. Present: Messrs J. 0. Boddington (chairman), J. 11, Keith, 14. Feist, and G. S. W. Dnlrymple, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported a credit balance of £225 (is -Id at date.
An apology for absence was received from Rev. Father McKenna.
The Hospital diary was road to the meeting, and the Custodian reported 7 patients in the hospital, (5 males and 2 females), 10 patients being admitted during the month and 10 discharged. The Secretary informed the Trustees that Mr Thomas Wagg had signified his intention of presenting two garden seats to the hospital. The Trustees expressed gratification for the generous offer, and on the motion of Mr Dalryinple, seconded by Mr Feist, a vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Wagg. The annual report prepared by the sub-committee, was read to the meeting, together with the audited balance sheet, and wore adopted by the Trustees.
Mr Keith proposed, and Mr Hoddington seconded, " That sufficient linoleum be procured to place under tho ppera}ii]ff ti(|}le.—Oqrrjed; It was nlsfl decided, qn the motipn of Mr JJah'.ymple, seconded hy Mr Boddington, I'That linoleum beprpcured for the jyitchen, ai|d the walls of the pus,sago leading to tho kitchen be repapered, The following accounts were passed for paymont:—J. Hughes, £-1 life 4d j Mrs Cole, His lid; Wilkins and Field, ;£(> 12s Bdj II I', Holnios, 12s 8d; J, Wickens, £2 Is, Rev, Fnthor McKonna was appointed visiting member, and the Trustees went into Committee.
