FEATHERSTON NOTES.

Wednesday. #Tlio annual meeting of parishioners of St. John's, Feathcrston, was hold last evening, in St, George's Hall. Tho Rev. Mr' Grace was unablo to attend owing to his not being well, The balance-sheet was read and adopted. A balance of £2O 19s 8d was reported, and it was resolved to place this amount to the church building fund, It was rcsol ved to move the church to a more central position. It was also resolved that ladies should have the power of voting at church meetings, ■' 't: r .
The following officers were elected for the ensuing year; clergyman's churchwarden, Mr J, G. Cox; parishioners'churchwarden,Mr Porritt; vestry, Messrs Knowles, Toogood, Thompson, Matthews, D, H, Robertson, Monckton, H, 0, Smith, Urwin, and W, Buck.
I Light refreshments were handed round during the evening, and songs and selections were rendered by Miss Symons, Miss King, Mrs Searl, Miss % Cundy, Miss Bunny, and Mr I). ' H. Itqhcrtsqn. The Kaiwaiwaimilk suppliers are indignant at fbe reiqoyai qf (he creamoiy to South Feathcrston, and they arc getting up a petition to the directors, informing them that if the creamery is" moved thoy will withdraw their supply of milk.
