FEATHERSTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Friday. The funeral of the late Mrs liidwill, senr,, took place yesterday afternoon, and was one of the largest that Ims ever taken place here. It was attended hy over four hundred people, there being over a hundred fool followers, nearly fifty vehicles, and about the same number of horsemen. Last evening the usual quarterly social of the Weslcyan Cliurchi was held in St. George's Hall, which vlis tastefully decorated for llie occasion) Numerous songs, duels, musical selections, etc., were gone through, after w litih refreshments were banded round. Altogether a very pleasant evening was spent.'
