MASTERTON CEMETERY TRUSTEES.

Quarterly Meeting.

Tho quarterly meeting of the Cemetery Trustees 'was held last night. Present, Messrs J. Payton (in tho chair). C. E. Daniel], It, Hare, W. Perry and G.Johnston. Tho minutes of the last previous meeting were read and confirmed,

The Treasurer's report showed a credit balance of £23 2s.

The Clerk reported that tho timber forming the border of some of flower beds, wanted replacing. Mr Hare said that tho English Church portion of tho cemetery would soon want enlarging, Mr Johnston remarked that the paths ought to bo altered. They were, very badly laid out. ;

Tho Clerk explained that a roso-j lution had been passed by tho Trus-i tees, ordering all pathways tobej made parallel to to the fences.

The Chairman suggested that Messrs Bunny,Daniell and Johnston, look into the matter with power to act, if they considered it necessary. MrDanicll seconded the motion, which was carried.

Messrs Bunny and Danicll were appointed a "Works Committee for the ensuing quarter. This concluded the business,
